It is as it looks, but my problem is the back does not stay upright. Left alone it collapses. Also, I find the seat a bit short. This swing is good for someone under 5'1. That is my height and the seat edge hits me a couple of inches above the bend of my knee. My grandkids will probably love it. I will keep looking for myself.It was ok but smaller than expected. Wood bar interferes with head room. Ropes to seat cushion should be longer.This chair worked great for my kids but is much smaller than expected.Ropes slip out of groove but it goodI love this chair, I use it at our cabin and can't keep the kids off of it to use it... but, when I do ahhhMeets expectations..I have not been able to hang outside yet too cold and snowy in Michigan. Excited to try it out soon though!I returned these as soon as I got them. The bar sits way to low. You would smack your head getting in & out of them.nice
