It works well enoughThis chair helped create additional seating for my friends taking care of me after surgery. Now during recovery I can put it away and store it in a small space.Nice little chair, but as others have noted here, the leg frames dig into the thighs when you sit, and you have to keep shifting to stay comfortable. I'm not large, a 4'9" male around 155 lbs, so if I'm feeling it, anyone bigger than me surely is.Low price, uncomfortableReally uncomfortable. I’m average size man. Chair digs into my thighs and the back hit’s shoulder blades. Probably a decent chair for a child. These chairs are not oversized, like most similar chairs seem to be.According to the CDC, 73.6% of adult Americans were overweight or obese in 2017-2018. It makes sense that this is why it is so hard to find foldable chairs for people with a "normal" body size. Manufacturers literally design their chairs for overweight people so they don't get bad reviews! Not judging anyone's lifestyle—just explaining some facts about why it's hard to find certain chair sizes. These chairs are for adults with a "normal" body-mass-index (BMI). I'm 5'10" and 163 lbs, a BMI of 23.7. We took these camping and all of our friends fit fine in these chairs. If you're not in the NBA and you're not overweight, you'll fit in these chairs. Living in a city, it helps not to have larger-than-needed stuff in our limited storage space.Downside: the cup holder seems to be of small diameter. I found it hard to fit anything drinkable in there. This is -- a camping chair. Exactly that, nothing more. The Platonic ideal of a folding camping chair. I got the red, which is a great rich color. The words "Quik Chair" are in white letters on a black label sewn to the back of the chair, where you'd often see a sports team name or store name. The bag is exactly the necessary size, so good thing that the chair, unlike us, won't be likely to gain weight and split the fabric. What bugged me was the packaging. The chair came in a long box inside a long box that was then picked, packed and shipped in (yes, you guessed it) a long box. I have a vision of St. Peter with a new assistant advising him on environmental matters, and when I get to the pearly gates, I'll have to answer for this one.The only reason I’m not giving this particular brand / product 5 stars is I owned the red foldable chair, the exact same brand and model and after a year the seat ended up ripping. To be fair I did sometimes leave it outside in the elements so it saw rain and sun. Within 1 year it was done. So far this blue one has held up though.Exactly as I expected and excellent value for the price. The chairs seem to be well made and are surprisingly solid. The color is vibrant and hopefully will be UV protected and thus remain so.This is one improvement the manufacturer could make that would have given them a higher rating and that is to put some padding in the front seat seam so that the rather stiff canvas does not press into the hamstring. This would make the seat much more comfortable and the cost would be insignificant.Another improvement would be to actually remove the cupholder. The cupholder can't hold anything hot or any standard sized drink. It is mostly cosmetic and not aesthetically pleasing. Good portable chair but you can feel the steel or bars as you sit in it, found it expensive for the product but fast delivery.
