This wheelchair is exceptional value for money. I needed one suitable for taking my Mother to doctor & hospital appointments, (trying to find a wheelchair available at the hospital when you need it is very frustrating & time consuming). This is the answer, it folds up easy, doesn't take up much space in the car, is very 'steerable', comfy, well designed, well made, amazing value for the cost of only £49.99. Mum can't walk for very long in one go so this is perfect for getting from car parks into buildings and then down long corridors as in hospitals. I would strongly recommend this to anyone with similar requirements. There really is no need to buy a more expensive one when this is available. Betterlife at Lloyds Pharmacy delivered it fast, within 48 hours & have provided an excellent service. I am very happy with this purchase.(Just a note to say, that as mentioned in other reviews, it might seem at first when attaching the footplates that they won't go on. They do fit very easily once when you realise what to do. Instructions are not very clear, & I'm not sure my explanation will be, but try as follows. Facing the wheelchair with the seat in front of you, for the left side hold the footplate which has the positioning holes on the left side of the framework, (our metal footplate was then facing out to the left), if this is so just twist it round to face inwards to the right. It then slots on into place perfectly. Do the same for the other footplate but this will have the positioning holes on the right side. It seems that for packing purpose the metal part is twisted in to the opposite side of the frame so it lies flat in the box. This may sound a bit confusing, or a bit obvious, but it really does throw you at first when you can see how it fits on but the plates are facing the wrong way. It really was simple when we eventually realised the obvious solution!)
